This photograph, taken by Kathy Kelly, is of the Kaimai mountain range located in the North Island of New Zealand.
Traveling south on the Old Te Aroha Road (the Love" in Maori) to Matamata (film site of Hobbiton), one can see the Kaimai mountain range to the East.
It's part of a series of ranges, with the Coromandel Range to the north and the Mamaku Ranges to the south.
