This color photograph by Kathy Kelly is of a handsome Pembroke Welsh Corgi puppy. Pembroke Welsh Corgis, or "Pems" as they are often referred to, are smart, fearless, loving, and active dogs. Smallest of the herding breeods, they enjoy "rounding up" children and household pets, while keeping their humans "in-sight." Anyone who owns a Pembroke knows "privacy" is not in this breed's vocabulary. Often found in their owners lap or by close by their feet, this breed has a strong need to be an active part of the family.
