Description
The coyote appears often in the tales and traditions of Native Americans. These members of the dog family once lived primarily in open prairies and deserts, but now roam the continent's forests, mountains, and urban areas. Coyotes are smaller than wolves and are sometimes called prairie wolves or brush wolves. They communicate with a distinctive call, which at night often develops into a raucous canine chorus.

I agree with Jerry, Kathy! So much building going on- these guys get displaced. Your capture of this beauty is a bit haunting!

We have a couple of packs of these guys that sing almost every night, Kathy. Their howling can be eerie but yet nice to have wildlife like them still nearby during ever expanding urban developement. Very nice render here that captures their being.....fav / like

Thanks Jerry. Coyotes have recently moved into our area and I look forward to the day I can hear them sing!
