This colorful and fantastical peice depicts a Pembroke Welsh Corgi dog sitting in front of a hobbit home with red door.
It was inspired by a recent trip to the New Zealand town of Matamata and the gardens and structures of the Lord of the Ring's Shire movie set. The piece features the exotic style of Japanese wood-block printing as seen by its use of flowing hand-chiseled outlines and brushed on color.
