Beautiful Pembroke Welsh Corgi dog outside lying on a deck. This bundle of fur is our little girl Sasha. She is a pure bred Pembroke Welsh Corgi that is a "fluffy."
Fluffy Corgis are the result of a recessive coat mutation, which means that their coats are quite different from those of regular Corgis. On occasion, I have had people ask if our Sasha girl is a large Pomeranian. Smiling I tell them "no." Unlike in Europe, in the US, most Pembroke Welsh Corgis have docked tails. But time are changing!
