Description
My thanks to my Welsh Corgis Cricket and Pippin for posing for me. This is a painting of two Corgis in the first snowfall of the season.
Pembroke Welsh Corgis (or "Pems") are smart, fearless, loving, and active dogs. Smallest of the herding breeds, they enjoy "rounding up" children and household pets, while keeping their humans "in-sight." Anyone who owns a Pembroke knows "privacy" is not in this breed's vocabulary. Often found in their owners lap or by close by their feet, this breed has a strong need to be an active part of the family.

Hard to pick a favorite--so many great Corgi portraits of these endearing guys! I'm a proud uncle to a Corgi. Okay, I pick this one! L/F.
