Description
Imagine life in this red door hobbit home beneath the hill. Discover the beauty of Middle-Earth's Hobbiton and enjoy a moment of fantasy and fun.
In January 2015, I had the opportunity to visit and photograph the mythical land "The Shire" during a visit to Matamata, New Zealand.
I hope you enjoy the collection.

Great digital art. I was there last week but didn't go on the tour as it poured rain. How did you get the photographs. I read where they get you to sign paperwork that you don't take photographs. I hope on another visit to do the tour. Congratulations on all your features. F/L ........Sandy
Kathy Kelly replied:
Hi Sandy, NZ is a wonderful place for a photo shoot and the people are so friendly. When we went to Hobbiton, all the visitors were allowed to take pictures. No forms or permissions needed. The set does have a wonderful gift shop and I encourage anyone going to Hobbiton to check it out. :-)
