Description
This photograph taken by Kathy Kelly depicts a honey bee gathering nectar. Honey bees species are found worldwide and can be seen in many different locations, including Europe and the United States. They are most visible in summer and late spring, when new queens leave their old colonies along with thousands of workers to build new nests.
Honey bees are known to compete largely with Bombus hortorum, a bumblebee species, because they forage at the same sites. To resolve the issue and maximize both their total consumption during foraging, bumblebees forage early in the morning, while honey bees forage during the afternoon.

Brian, thank you for your wonderful comment. I don't see honey bees as often as I used to and pray they make a come back.
